Why is my fuel pump not priming?! Help!

To sum it up, I came back home from tech school the other day and my car ran perfect for 2 days besides failing inspection and being too low and my tint. My dads battery died so while he was charging the battery, he hooked my battery straight to his battery cables with jumper cables to put his windows up and I saw my afr's start leaning out to 15.5. So I hurried up and popped my hood to check if something was loose and my car just slowly died and shut off. I attempted to start it and it turned off but wouldn't start. I then realized my fuel pump was not priming, so I started trouble shooting that. Found out the fuse was blown and thought everything was going to be straight. Went to start the car and the pump still didn't prime. So checked the relay and replaced it for the hell of it to test it and it still did not prime. So I assumed it was the pump, so my wife and I pulled the pump real quick and tested the pump and it's completely fine. So, it obviously means its not getting power? So I'm assuming there's a bad ground? Is there anything else that would cause my fuel pump to not prime?? Would the maf have anything to do with it?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the main ignition fuse or ECU. If the ECU isn't getting power, it certainly isn't going to prime. Since your problem started when you put a heavy load on it, I'm thinking its a fusible link.

Ecu problem. Any way you could have shorted it out?

I'm going to be working it on today for sure so I'll definitely try both of your ideas. Some guys on ka-t also said it could possibly be the ecu or fuses. I hope I didn't short it out. But I'm doubting I fried the ecu because it still cranks just ain't starting, due to no fuel. But I'll definitely check for it. Thanks you guys for your input and I'll def update this thread after I try fixing it.

If relays, fuses, and ecu check out to be fine, make a new ground for the fuel pump and test it out. Sounds like your last option right?

I've seen this type of fuel problem before and the issue sounds like this.

This happened to me and it ended up being the relay. Could be ecu, or ground wire. These are old cars and wires burn out after age and use. Also disconnect the fuel lines and blow it out with an air compressor. It may be clogged. Let us know how it goes

So just give an update on what I've done and my conclusion. My buddy and I rechecked all the fuses, egi pump and fuel pump, checked the relay and tested for voltage at the relay. Then proceeded to check for voltage to the actual 2 prong fuel pump connector and none was present. So, for a quick test of the ECU, we unplugged it and replaced it with the stock ECU just to check whether the fuel pump would get voltage to prime. The result was it would get voltage for about 2 seconds, just enough time for the pump to prime. So, I emailed rs-enthalpy and will let you guys know what instructions they give me next. Hopefully they'll just let me send it to them for them to fix. We'll see. Thanks you guys again, your help was greatly appreciated.

So I actually went straight to opening and inspecting the ecu and this is what I found which sounds very similar to what some of you said. Do you think I could fix this myself?? Looks like a diode to me?? This was the only issue I could find on my ecu boards. All the pins on the chips looked fine? none burned out or anything? Could this one brown burnout/messed up circuit cause my fuel pump issue?? And if so, could i repair it?? Thanks you guys for everything!
