So first of all this car is a project car that I bought and the electrical is pretty screwy for example: A sub wire is used for the Positive (+) battery cable and the battery is relocated in the trunk.

So I bought a new battery, fuses, and bulbs for the tail lights to make sure everything would work properly as well as I needed a turbo timer.

As soon as I bought those things and installed the new fuses everything worked once the car was off however once I turned the car on the dash(lighting), tail lights, 1 reverse light, and 1 hazard light stopped working... as if I blew a fuse. But i checked all the fuses and none of them blew out. I even tested the alternator by taking off the negative battery cable while the car was on and it still ran perfect.

My question is what could the issue be? I'm not the smartest when it comes to electrical and not willing to touch something I'm not sure about. Rather ask before I take it to some random electrical car shop that over charges me.

Thank you.

It might be the ignition switch I was reading but any other thoughts?

Electrics are tough to diagnose. See if its grounding out anywhere. Start at the source (hazard light for example. ) trace that wire as far as you can.
