hey guys, im new to the forum and KINDA new to the 240sx i had a 89 with a red top in it and sold it then after a few months had to have another so i picked up a 95 with an s14 blacktop in it... first question is if i got as good of a deal as i think it did.. heres what i got..
95 240sx (body was SPRAY PAINTED :duh: but zero rust:hyper:)
s14 sr20 blacktop swap (runs amazing)
megan racing dump pipe, down pipe, test pipe
apexi n1 cat back
xspec electric gauges (boost/vacum, oil pres, volts)
cx racing fmic
hks ssq bov
samco hoses
stage 2 clutch (not sure of brand name)
megan racing motor and trans mounts
think thats about it
and i paid the kid 1200 bucks
the car wouldn't shift worth a crap when i got it, replaced slave cylinder and master and ran a new line between the 2 and i was over extending the slave plunger. Figured the TOB was shot i pulled the trans only to find out they put the clutch fork AHEAD of the tabs on the TOB not behind (the clip was doing nothin but hangin out) replaced the TOB, rear main, resurfaced flywheel. Clutch was so new the cover still had a nice shine to it. The trans will be back in tomorrow but i'm assuming (after a very intense search of this forum, and common sense) that the fork being roughly 1/2" too far forward would cause the clutch fork to have to travel and extra 1/2" thus overextending the damn plunger.. but anyway glad i found zilvia already been a big help!
