steering wheel horn prob

i hooked up the horn on my sparco mugello wheel and it doesnt work, there was one wire coming from each button and they came together and i hooked it to the black wire outa the hub. the brass rings on the back of the hub are in contact with the stud on the steering colum, so what gives? did i do it wrong?

run a wire from the wheel bolt to the bolt attaching the adapter to the hub it could be that the wheel is not groundign right this happened with a momo i installed once and also with the sparco rally i put in my mustang

yeah im not following that. what am i trying to ground? i thought that was my prob but i couldnt get it to work. so what do i do?
