View Full Version : S13 front left clunking (not lugs or subframe)

I'm trying to figure this out because it doesn't sound safe.
It only happens on left turns.
Lug nuts are tight.
Subframe is tight.
Could it be the wheel weight hitting the coilover (Looks like enough clearance, but I dunno)? Wheel bearing?
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Jake

Might be wheels, I have same problem when I turn right, my left tires scrape!! When parked I have plenty of clearance too

Make sure your tension rod bolts are TIGHT.
I had a lot of clicking/clunking issues and it turned out they weren't as tight as they should be.
USE A TORQUE WRENCH.

THIS.
I had a clunk on my s14 drivers side and 2 of the tension rod bolts were very loose. Solved my clunking noise
