Being active in the For Sale Section on Zilvia, I must say I've had some weird and funny offers for the stuff I've sold in the past.

Post some of the WEIRD/FUNNY/RANDOM offers for present or past items being sold.

FOR EXAMPLE:
Last year I was selling a t28 turbo. Some guy text me with an offer, and I quote, "ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND PARAPHERNALIA, $50, and some racing fuel".

Not the most random, but sure was funny and weird. Didn't take offer, but definitely was a good try!

He must have meant Military Spec and not military issued.. those weapons would never leave the armory unless for training or something..

IDK if this counts, i wasnt selling thats for sure. One guy offered to pay me $400 to sleep with me twice a week, $200 cash each time. I was kind of disgusted since he was a good 20 years older and someone i considered a friend. FAIL.

How old were you, when this offer was made? I can then determine, a fitting response.

Sounds like he's breaking the law, and you're bragging about it?

Unless this is somehow sanctioned, which I doubt.

It is not State Law that is the issue.

It is the misappropriation of government funds and possible theft from the United States Military. Neither of which results in a polite slap on the wrist.

For your own safety, I suggest specifying that it was purchased from a Surplus Dealer, as some firearms are indeed available that still bear the US stamping from being built for the Military.

.50 cals arent illegal to own, hell Cabelas sells them. MILITARY ISSUE weapons are property of the US government and are not to be had outside of the MILITARY. You say he has a military issue .50 cal that is what is illegal.

ThatGuy
10-03-2011, 05:30 PM
I didn't say it was illegal. I stated why it could be illegal. I also stated why it could be perfectly legal, and simply suggested you mention that fact to avoid further headache about the matter.
