somebody hooked the constant 12 volt into the ignition wire into your head unit, as for the clock... i have no clue

does the clock turn off with the ignition? I've never bothered to notice.. hmm
anyway the solution for the head unit is as above, pretty simple. as for the clock, its the same deal just a different wire.

If your accessory powered devices are staying on with the power off its a wiring issue. If the head unit was wired correctly then something is wrong in the car's wiring harness.

*WARNING* Not trying to be a jackass... just thorough.
Are you turning your key all the way to off?
I can remove my key in the ACC position sometimes if I'm in a hurry.

Question when hooking up your new head unit did you use a wiring harness or did you splice into the wires. If you used a wiring harness then there is a problem in the harness. If you spliced the wires, get a fresh set of eyes in there and double check that you didn't cross something. As for the clock in the S13 they stay off even when there is no key in the ignition. FYI could be the same for the S14's

when i put the stereo in i spent the money and got the best wiring harness out there . as far as the key it is all the way off .
quick question : if i put the factory back in do i need a code for it cause i put it in once before and it turned on and everything but there was no sound so i did not know if there is a code you needed ...
thanks justin
