Im doing a 5 speed swap on my S14 SE that came with ABS and VLSD from the factory, and I was wondering what options I had for the driveshaft since its impossible of finding a manual ABS s14 driveshaft...

I happen to have a S13 5 speed driveshaft laying around, I was told that I could cut the rear portion on my auto driveshaft and tig weld it onto the front portion of the S13 driveshaft, is this true?

If you want serious vibrations because you welded your driveshaft then do it, other than that DON'T DO IT.

I suggest you just get the front shaft from a manual s14 and replace your auto front shaft with the manual one. Easy.

Cant I just do that with the front shaft from the S13 driveshaft then? I believe there is not difference between the s13 and s14 front shafts, only the rears are different

drive shaft shop one piece in my personal opinion. OR you can do the auto front piece and manual rear piece.... It is one of the two....

Sorry just saw where your from.....

Shaft Master's. They have excellent stuff and a little bit cheaper than Driveshaft shop. Aluminum or steel. I run an aluminum one and my friend has one also. VERY nice piece and had no problems with it at all.
