View Full Version : Whats it worth thread, 94 JDM Silvia.
OK, not sure if this is in the correct forum but I'm confident it'll get moved if its not!
Anyway, I have a 94 JDM Silvia, been thinking of selling due to lack of use and the fact I'd like to buy a snowmobile.
The SR20 is mainly stock with exception to a Vibrant air filter, megan down pipe and test pipe and a 3 inch silent power exhaust. Has megan rear toe/control arms. Has a few other minor upgrades but nothing crazy.
Heres a few pics.

Its only done 93,000KMs and needs NOTHING
Obviously I know what I paid for it but I think it was a steal of a buy, so what would you guys think I should ask for it? I know being a RHD its a no no for some of American members and it would be hard to get legal south of the Canadian line.
Please be honest but dont be retarded, thanks for your opinions.

More like 8k man. It's a legit silvia with 50,000 miles. And it's clean ass hell and unmolested.

That means nothing in Canada, its also STOCK, which people in Canada are sadly not looking for. Ive owned 3 Silvias here in Alberta, that car will sell nicely for 5900obo.

Woops. I missed the Canada part haha. My suggestion was in U.S. terms.

Every thing here is worth 2 in the the bush.
It has no damage on the passenger, its as close to mint as you will find!!
Kinda thought stock was more desirable than messed with, hence why I bought it :hide:
In any case, nice to hear some different opinions

This is Alberta remember, we have rich ass oilfield workers who dont wanna buy a stock car, they want something fast, cool and good looking for their 3 days outta a month off. Those are the people you will sell too usually. Your best bet, get some good high quality photos of the car, not this 2mp garbage, do up a nice ad and wait on 6500obo. Maybe you'll get lucky.
I had a S14 just like this about 2 years ago, white, similar wheels, tubular manifold, tein coils, takata, nardi, misc other junk, sold it for 10,200. Now people are selling heavily modded s14's for 8. Yours is a tough sell in a province that doesnt cherish an umolested car. Take that to California and get it road legal, you'll make 8 easy! But not here, sorry brother.

This aint a for sale thread, just looking for opinions! but thanks for your input, kinda made up my mind for me, guess I'll keep it till such times as an un-molested S14 is a rare beast, no shortage of bagged POS's about!

just ask exactly what you paid for it since you said you got a good deal, then you pretty much just drove a free car.

A similar black one was for sale at a local importer at the beginning of may. I believe the asking was $7K. It sold after a few weeks for a bit less...

I would think that due to it being stock it holds a much higher value than one with a bunch of mods. When i bought my car i spent over a year of searching daily to find a car that was stock. I did not want to inherit someone elses work or problems....

I'd ask 6500obo... It isn't worth shit sitting in your driveway, so you'll have to be a bit flexible, but don't "give" it away either

I think asking $7000.00 is fair. Sell me your side skirts? :naughtyd:
