I've always loved cars and had been saving up forever so that i could someday buy one i loved and recently i purchased a 1990 240sx coupe, it has coilovers, and they body work is done, but i want to start working on the engine. The only giant problem keeping me from working on it is my lack of knowledge and not having anyone to teach me. SO i was wondering if anyone could point in in the right direction as to how to start or where to start. websites, videos, anything really. i really just want a car that i can slide in, but being fast as well wouldn't hurt. she has a stock KA. PLEASE HELP!

There are lots of places to get the how to: online, from dvd's, books etc, but you really need a person if it is your first time working on a car. drifting.com offers lots of engine rebuild dvd's suspension dvd's engine swaps, etc. They are really great, but I wouldn't trust myself on only dvd knowledge. I would really try to have someone teach you, ask any of your friends who have knowledge with cars and advertise free pizza that always works out.
Working on an engine is a huge job to tackle and while it might seem easy from the dvd's there is a lot of little things. The dvd's give you the main idea, but all the little details are what makes everything hard. Again have someone help you an engine is a lot easier to work on with two people. Good luck!

You will probably hear this now from everyone so heres a heads up Google (http://google.com)
