It's kinda hard to drive sometimes without being hypnotized by the movie displays every once in awhile!

I have a 6300 and love it. By the way, does anyone have a nice system in their cars? I'm wondering what could possible be done in the trunk as far as amp racks go and custom enclosures.

S15Dude,
I have a very large system in my car... what kinda question do you have? I have two amps 3 subs, an EQ, a CD changer... it's all stealth... I've been trying to get the oppertunity to post it on the install site here... but if you have any questions I'd be happy to help you out!

wav399,
As far as good sound in an S13 I've never seen inside an S13 FB. With 4x6" you're going to be hard pressed to get anything to even sound decent. S14 has 6½" which is really nice. Much easier to find a quality 6½" speaker. I don't know the S13 well enough to know if the door can be modded easy.
I think the DEH-P7200 is a fine deck, however it has to be THE most stolen deck on the market. I hope someone steals my deck... that would be nice to get the insurance money!!

i have a premier deh-p630 on it's way.. it's got the organic craziness <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> what is teh diff between the 630 and say the 7000 series? i couldn't tell much.. anyhow,
how hard is installation?. do i need custom brackets? or will it slide right in there?

The 63xx 2V pre-out and the OEL doesn't have all of the features... 73xx features different displays and a 4V out... I think there were some other differences too. I dunno... I sell Pioneer, but I don't like it at all!! ALPINE all the way!

The DVA-5205? Or the brand new one coming out for 2002? I can't remember the model number... Looks like a 7878 from 2001. I'll sell you my Fantom Face cheap!! $500 man!! I have a DVA-5200, but it's used and out of date... the guy I'm selling it for wants $500 for it. =P

the 6300 doesn't have rear speaker preamp outputs either. with the 7300 you can use the rear outputs as an amplified subwoofer out good for like 70 watts. they both have separate subwoofer preamps

Yeehaw!! Nothing like bridging your deck to a sub... errr... man how can that work??

The Pioneer DEH-Px000 dont have organic el. The x200 are a few years newer. Rampid360, on this board has a 7200, 2v pre-outs, and no organic el. I have a DEH-P8200, with 4v pre-outs, and an organic el. Our do the same thing, but mine is a lil better on the sub clarity (in theory) and has moving dolphins.
The x300 is the newest model type, and most of the higher ones have organic el.

7200 has OEL. I does... I know this for a fact. It also does have a 2V pre like you said.
And the 6300,7300 & 9300 have OELs as well... the 9300 is two color split horizontally. Not vertically like the 8000.

I used to have the 7200, it got stolen, then I bought the 7300. I liked the 7200 better.. they cut alot of features out. like the built in alarm system.
The 7300 had more movie displays than the 7200. but they both Definately had OEL.
I'm thinking about buying a Nakamichi mb-75. The 6-disk indash cd changer. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Sykik,
Dude don't by an indash changer. I know Naka seems to be great and all, but indashes are nothing but problems. (From my professional experince)
