I was wondering if i should get the Tein S Tech springs for my 240. Does anyone know if there any good and how much of a drop it gives you. i have a 1990 240sx. Help me out so i know whether or not to get these. Iam thinking about a little road racing with some street racing too. thanx alot.

I have them, they are ok. One word of advice...if you get these dont pair them up w/your stock shocks! your ride will be bumpy as hell, i know because thats what i am doing right now. Or dont pair any lowering springs with stock shocks @ all.
bfore the car had a 4 finger gap, now it has almost a 2 finger gap. wish they were a bit lower though.

these springs have been discussed alot on the boards already...try a search for more info on them.
I just got my s14 with kyb agx's and the s-techs and it feels great. It holds together real well over alot of different surfaces.

my friend with an s13 has the s-techs paired with stock shocks. Its actually a really rigid ride. I'm not too sure about the handling cause i never driven it, but it did feel pretty nice from a passengers point of view. gives a decent lower too.

i have them wih AGX's on my coupe, and they feel a lil soft to me. like im having to overcompensate with the dampening. but they are a tighter ride than my friends Tanabe G's/AGX

i like my friends set of kg/mm's more though.

I have the tein s tech with agx combo on a 90 fastback.let me say the drop is perfect to me even on stock rims the drop is noticeable,I put mine next to a freind of mines who has the eibach sportlines basicaly the teins look even from front to back the sportlines are lower in the front but the rear looks the same the teins.Driving was a bit of a challenge since from the factory the agx were set on 3 front and 4 in the rear to stiff for any roads I know about and bouncy as hell I Was pissed for a minute but after playing with the settings I found a good setting for daily driving 2 for the fronts and 3 for the rear rides like butter but if you hit a bump you will know it. I ordered a set of koni bumpstops wich should help with the bumps more.If you have a body kit stick with the teins or you will be hitting everything I have a nismo front and its pretty close to the ground if I would have used the sportlines that would have beena tragidy lol.

I didn't like how bouncy mine were either, I stiffened mine up to 3/4 in the front and 7/8 or 8/8 in the rear and I like it a lot better, corners better too.
