so for the coolant lines on the s14 sr20 i have one question. i know the the bigger hole closest to the throttle body and the one smaller fitting closest to the block both go to the heat core.

and there is one fitting in the middle of those to that is supposed to go to the block, but it looks like the guy before me plugged up the hole on the block.

i am assuming this line wasnt needed then, does anyone know if it is ok to run without that coolant line and can i just plug up that middle fitting?

found this pic, its the line closest to the front of the engine with the red "x" on it that goes into the block

Considering how these engines are prone to overheating, I'd run all the lines I'm supposed to. There's a reason engineers have those lines there for a reason. I'd be too worried that another lines is feeding coolant into that line. You plug it and it might potentially cause the coolant not to flow properly on that part of the block.
