Not as "nice looking" but will work way better !

i went with a version of option 2.... window gunk, which isn't quite AS stiff as the construction compound. it doesn't look bad if you spread it evenly with a straightedge or something. unfortunately that technique won't work with the constructor's gunk since it just sticks to the blade edge......

I went the $200 route and it has just pissed me off for the most part. The mounts make the engine and tranny sit higher so it is impossible to take the tranny out because of the damn mounts. I had to pull the driver side mount off and let that side of the engine down to give the tranny enough room to fit under the firewall and this was all for a squeeling pilot bushing because I didn't grease the input shaft. It was more difficult than swapping the whole damn engine if you ask me working under the car like that.

flybert i had the same issue but i just put a jack under the oil pan (cast pan) and had one of my fat friends stand on the back of the engine it then tilted down enough and we had no problems
