Ok, I've done a bit of searching, and read the recent posts on camber/toe changes and the effect it has on the tire.

The order I'm doing my suspension has been the following. Chasis braces/stiffeners, all aftermarket links/ruca's, then coilovers w/ adj camber/pillow mounts.

My question is this. With aftermarket spherical bushings instead of the stock rubber ones, if you install aftermarket links in the rear, i.e. forward/toe links and adj RUCA's, get the car aligned to the desired settings, and then install coilovers w/ pillow mounts and drop the car to the desired height, the TOE and CAMBER will once again be out of your previous specs?

As I'm typing this, I'm ASSuming yes as the space inbetween the upper and lower spring perches has changed, therefore the position of the hub in relation to the suspension has changed, so the TOE and CAMBER will change as well?

Am I correct in this thinking, or by adding spherical bushings will help the problem as you can get a more accurate setting when you get the car aligned PRIOR to the drop w/ the coilover install.

If I'm completely wrong in my thinking, someone let me know....as I'm sure you will anyways :D

after getting coilovers yes you will have to get your car realigned if you drop it from the previous location. The general trend from what ive seen is coilovers first arms second. I got my gp sports, gt-four coilovers first, then i got kazama rear arm set maybe 3 months down the road, granted over that three months i killed my tires, but they werent the best to start with, but they are 16 inch, and my dad owns a salvage yard, so i just go grab some different tires when they get worn. Still saving up for some nice 17s, or 18s, and im not worried about tires anymore becuase i have my car all aligned and what not. Hope this helped

But my thinking/logic as to why it affects toe/camber is correct?

Thanks

when lowering ur car, the camber and toe change, u are correct. Adjustable arms are used to correct that, give stiffer feeling, and just overall more adjustajustability then stock, with coil overs the distance between the spring perches doesnt nessary change the toe and camber, its how far up the tire is sitting. Some one can have a longer spring, and more room inbetween the perches, then someone with a shorter spring, but can still ride at the same height, get what im saying?
