I have a *CLEAN TITLE* Montego Blue 1994 Mazda Rx7 Twin Turbo, 5 speed manual transmission (CLUTCH is brand new, trans is rebuilt with no grinds/whatsoever), RUST FREE (Originally from California), Free of MAJOR DENTS (There is roughly 3 tiny dings but overall the body is clean), all body panels line up, clean carfax, all electricals work perfectly, AC is intact and working, the heat is hot hot, suspension and brakes are in excellent condition.
THE BAD:
The motor was rebuilt ($8,500 with receipt) by BANZAI a year ago. I am a purist and only used the best and oem parts. It was running perfectly 2 weeks ago and now won't start anymore. I am not sure what the problem is and I do not have the time to fix/assess her. This could be as simple as an engine that is flooded with fuel, it could be an electrical problem, the fuel pump could be dead. I have no idea. All I know is that the motor was recently rebuilt and now the car is not running.
The car's body is super nice and clean BUT the car was originally from CALIFORNIA and is therefore SUNFADED. This is bad but good at the same time because the Cali Sun allows this car to be RUST FREE and clean. However, the car can be driven as is and still look good. The worst part of the car is the REAR BUMPER. It has a lot of chips but is not warped or damaged/dented.
THE GOOD:
The car is 100% complete. Nothing is missing in this car. The interior is all there (black interior with tan seats). RX7 interior pieces are super expensive and hard to find. Everything in the interior works. It is nice and clean. The seats have a lot of wear but everything else is mint. The engine bay is 100% stock. Again, nothing is missing in the engine. The turbos are JSPEC turbos (OEM JDM turbos -- they produce slightly more power than the USDM turbos) in MINT condition.
The clutch only has 8000 miles on it. The transmission was rebuilt 8000 miles ago.
The car only has three modifications: 1) Aftermarket downpipe + 2) Blitz Nur Spec 3" Exhaust. The midpipe is still OEM. 3) 1999 Spec Taillights (uninstalled in pictures but will be installed)
WHAT SHE NEEDS?:
I am not sure what she needs because I do not know what is wrong with her. But the worst case scenario would be that she needs a new shortblock. This will cost roughly $800-$1000 for a block with 100+ PSI of compression. Again, this motor was recently rebuilt but now won't start. This can be an easy fix or you will have to replace the shortblock at the very worst.
This car has a CLEAN TITLE. My asking price is $6599. Rollers with missing body parts, no engine , no trans, no wiring harness or ecus sell for my asking price. This is a COMPLETE CAR.
