Description: Selling my project Datsun. This is a running, driving 280Z. I bought the car after it had not been running in over 4 years and put a lot of work into it:

Will consider trades for anything reliable, decent on gas, and manual, 5 or 6-speed. ABSOLUTELY NO HONDAS (This includes Acuras) OR VWs!!!!! Will add cash on top of the Z.

1978 Datsun 280Z
4- Speed Manual 2+0 coupe
147k Miles

The car starts and drives great, and all the gears shift great. The car has a lot of pep and is a blast to drive. It was my driveable project, but don't have the time for it anymore with my new job. This has typical S13 rust which is amazing for it's age. Floor pans, quarters, and strut towers are solid, and the car will come with a lot of extras, too much to list (2 extra transmissions 1 I think is a 5-speed, 2 extra L28 engines, extra body parts, bumpers, 4 rebuilt strut assemblies, a partial rear disc conversion setup, brand new modled carpet for the interior and a ton more!!!!)

THE GOOD:

- New Frame Rails and Jack Plates.
- New MSD Ignition Coil
- Brand new Battery with custom Battery tie down/tray kit.
- Brand new Alternator
- Brand New Starter (not installed)
- Brand new shifter bushings.
- Brand new sway bar end links.
- Brand new headlights
- Brand new front sway bar end links
- Brand new Fuel pump, and fuel injectors with brand new pig tails
- Brand new MSA 6-1 Header
- Brand new custom Dynomax 2.5 inch exhaust
- Custom Intake
- Comes with brand new interior, and a full size dash cap.
- Brand new Fuel Filter, spark plugs, wires, water sender kit, radiator hoses, belts, water pump, and more!
- New brakes (not yet installed)
- Tons of other extras
- Body is pretty rust free, and very straight
- New Exedy clutch and Sachs flywheel (not installed)
- 240Z bumpers (not on the car)
- Poly urethane front Air Dam
- Custom Maxi Fuse upgrade to eliminate the stock fusible links.

THE BAD:
- Rust in the battery tray area
- Rust in the inner hatch
- Electrical issues (Dash lights don't work, shorting out somewhere under the dash)

Any questions please feel free to text or E-mail me. Car is ready for test drives. This is a project car, but I do drive it. The interior and exterior really need to be finished and the electrical should be redone.
