Is there any places in richmond va for drifting or any kind of racing but legal.

Not in richmond but there are events within an hour to 3 hrs from you.
I know there's 2 events towards the end of Oct. One of them is Driftwater in Moyock NC, south of Norfolk/VB.

Drivers:$115.00
Crew:$25.00
Spectators (no ride alongs):$10.00
ALL ATTENDEES MUST PRE REGISTER!!!!
Driver registration will be limited to forty drivers.
Spectators - NO RIDE ALONGS
Crew members - 1 PER DRIVER
This event is open to both drift and grip drivers of all skill levels.
* 8am - gates open
* 8:30 - tech inspection and drivers meeting
* 9:30am-12 - hot track
* 12-1pm - lunch break ($8.00 all you can eat buffet - CASH ONLY)
* 1pm-4pm - hot track
* 5pm - off facility (no exceptions)
your vehicle must pass nasa tech and you must provide your own
dot and/or snell rated helmet.

check this out...FRVA's First Drift Event. October 29th. (http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=410579).... I don't know if I am going to have my car together by then but i'll prob go spectate.
