DAMN THIS SHIT IS ANNOYING!!!!.
Anyways I did not have this problem until I installed coilovers and PBM subframe rizers....Due to the harsh ride, each time i go over potholes or any crappy road....its making things move in the car...and my dash is rattling when im driving....
However, when I apply pressure to the dash, the noise completely stops, and it makes it sound like a VIP car...I would like to figure out how to apply pressure constantly to the dash, to make this noise stop....or what kind of shops I can take this to, so that they can fix it!
Thanks

try using dynamat on the inside of your dash, it stops alot of vibration. i put solid engine mounts in mine and its rattles like crazy but i live with it

Welcome to owning and driving an old car...time to turn the radio up to drum out the stuff that you don't want to hear.

Alot of the rattly noises in these cars from behind the dashes come from behind the radio and under the steering column.

If it really annoys you just take a day and take off the dash and make sure everything is bolted down.

what he said. I put hushmat and all that shit in after making my suspension tight and blah blah blah. doesn't help the noises really, just makes your car heavier lol. i hear everything. it's good and bad, all at the same time but wtvr.
But rattling? What part of the dash are you applying pressure to? Don't bother with a shop, removing you dash and finding a loose bolt or wtvr is easy.

i used to work at a lexus dealership and dealt with a lot of rattles. a lot of times, the rattles and noises comes from parts that are bolted or screwed on to the dash. air ducts and speakers are usually the culprits. we used foam tapes and felt tapes. sometimes i even use super glue. loose wires can also create noises and rattles. wrap those with foam tape and secure it with zip ties so it won`t move around. also steering column covers and door panels rattle and squeaks. if you don`t know where to get felt and foam tape, you can go to a toyota or lexus dealership and buy an Interior Noise Kit. i have the same problem, but i`m too lazy to remove the dash.
