e-brake function has nothing to do with hydraulics. You should not need a new one if you just changed the caliper, but you do need to make sure the cable is attached.

You may also need to adjust how tight the brake grabs, which you do at the base of the handle (remove the center arm-rest, pull back the plastic/rubber boot that is attached to the plastic handle, and tighten the m10 nut at the base of the brake lever a couple of turns. You should do this until it is difficult to pull the ebrake the last few clicks (aka. requires some muscle to pull it.)

You have to bleed the brakes first to get correct, caliper to rotor relation.
So it's bleed properly, then apply the brakes adjust e-brake lever cable. After both grab relatively equal, adjust lever cable for drag. I don't think this is documented, I picked this up along the way. TIFWIW

I bleeded this shit out of them..so I know they are good..the brakes work just my passanger side doesn't grabe while my driver side does..if adjust the screw on the handle my ebrake wears from my driver side like crazy..

that happened to my car too so I replaced my brakes with z32 set up. and get some r33 ebrake cables or some 2+2 z32 cables
