Most likely going to have to drop it to get to that area; It'll be a good idea to fix that really well, you don't want that leaking.

It not too bad dropping the gas tank... yea its a b*tch but ya gotta do what you have to do. Drop the subframe with everything still on it (wheels, brakes, arms, etc). One the subframe is out of the way, there's two metal bands that hold the tank in place. You'll see a cotter pin on the end of each band, pull those out along with the bolts. Dont forgot to disconnect your fuel pump wiring too. Use a jack an lower it down, especially if you got fuel in there haha!
Im in ny, i got a tank for an s14 if you need one.

That's because the s13 tanks is right there.
The s14 tank is in the shape of the rear seats and is RIGHT on top of the subframe.
Took me a whole 2 hours on my front driveway to replace it and put everything back together.

I ship over-sized parts through Greyhound to save the buyer some money as an alternetive to spending $200+ through Ups, Fedex, Etc. It would be about $50 to ship it. If your interested in it send me a PM and we can work out a price. -Craig

Whatever you do, dont use those putty gas tank repair kits. They aren't worth a shit. Might be ok for about a few weeks but will go right on back to leaking. Metal and epoxy expands and contracts at different rates and it leaking again is inevitable. Not a good place to cheap out.....
