Okay so Im curious as to why this keeps happening. It has happen on 3 of my buddies motors. All SR's With Freddy Intake Manifolds. I don't know what possible reason would cause this just from running a different intake manifold. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or whats maybe a solution to keep it from happening?????

yup happend to a buddy of mine too, I've come to the conclusion you've had to much built up back pressure and it broke, and therefore think it might have something to do with your bov and your boost pressure,
so more info on that kind of stuff would be nice thanks

I dont think your manifold had anything to do with it.

Or the fact that the pulley for the throttle cable has too much tension on in and when you press the gas it hyper extends past the stop point resulting in stress on the butterfly mounting screws.

DING DING DING!!! We have a winner!
Proper adjustment of the throttle cable will prevent this in the future.

Okay that actually makes sense! I have a ghetto rigged way of mounting my throttle cable so im thinking that has part of it too. An for the record isixphill (http://zilvia.net/f/members/isixphill.html) im running a greddy type S an gt2871r 20psi.

Had this happen to me with ISIS intake manifold on my s13 SR. The cable went to the pulley at a weird angle. Replaced the pulley with a S14 SR and it fixed all the angles. No issues since.
