nah, brian, that's not my black top, well it was going to be, but some guy in canada got it first. i'm reserving one in thats coming the next shipment. ;) i'm having jason and shaun to install mine, to save me countless sleepless nights. yeah, the ka isn't hard to pull, me and a friend (the guy with the burgandy 240 inside jgy) pulled one outa his coupe within an hour and a half. yeah, we can meet up sometime. where about is narrows va anyway? goodluck again.

brianglawson

narrows is basically right on the otherside of princeton WV
that fastback in the shop was pretty nice, needed a better set of wheels, but other than that i really liked it, also, since you know him, is he using the sparco seat rails on his seats???
Are you gonna get shaun and jason to wire it up idolizing the same technique they used in the burgandy one, you know with the KA harness and a stuff, or the regular sr harness way???
just curious......

Anyway, after I got my hair did, I went over there again and saw your cread dream sticker they got made for your car. Why do you have a rainbow sticker on your car?

I love my new hair do!

my story is that i got one hell of a christmas present for my $575 car. I'm actually only 15, i got my learners though. after this motor is in i think we are gonna start on suspension, there was a deal on ebay fro apexi world coilovers for $650 but its gone now, so my suspension price went up alot. then 5 lug swap(Hopefully) and z brakes. next comes body work, then a new coat of factory code white paint, with a little bit of pearl in it:) My dad works at Greensboro auto auction, so paint will be cheap as hell. right now i gotta find somewhere to get some decent coilovers, cheap, other than TEIN Basics

hmm... i don't remember posting that last post. somethings fishy because Jason and Shaun did make fun of my new hair-cut, and they do think i make fun of my best friend a bit too much. hmm... i still wonder. maybe Shaun is still logged on as me on his lap top. (rubbing stubbles on my chin) you know, theres laws on using other people's acounts without their concent... maybe a violation worth a complete sr swap. by the way guys, justin and his sr are getting along fine. we're changing oil by the end of this week. i also took it for a spin... as soon as my dad gets to drive it, you guys will be getting a call... remember to stick to the plan.

12-10-2003, 08:19 AM
strict "plan sticking to" will be inforced "Mr. Hair".

don't forget, Mobil 1 fully 10w30 and Puralator filter for '91 se-r

oh.......Justin said you drive like a girl?:aw:

Nismo240SX
12-10-2003, 08:37 AM
i am pretty sure the oil filter from a 91 se-r is the same is whats on the ka motor. does brand of oil really matter??? i think justin was going to use valvoline. by the way, the only girl that i'd drive like is lisa kubo. ;) and another thing, i told stacey to come up to jgy, that you had a change in heart. :D j/k since i'm "Mr. Hair" you and shaun could be the new millenium's Chich and Chong... you could be called Weetch and Wong. :p be good you guys.

good luck with the install and like DRFT said do a write up. Include all the things you screwed up on. That will save me from making the same mistake.

I've also heard Mobil 1 synthentic is the best out there (especially for turbo engines). My dad's job had him working with a company that runs huge boats (dredge pump boats, barges, tugs, etc) and one of the engineers told him that through all their R&D they decided that Mobil 1 Synthetic held up the best.

On old krusty engines you want to use mineral based (regular) oil as it can help expand and seal old seals/gaskets etc. that may be leaking or ready to leak. Thats why you never see a synthetic oil marketted to "higher mileage cars". I've also heard that after you rebuild an engine, you want to start off using regular oil (to prep the seals as listed above) , then switch to synthetic oil at the first oil change (probably 1,500 to 2,000 miles for a turbo car).
