hi everyone been trying to trouble shoot this problem for weeks with no luck.... ok i have a sr swapped 240 with 740inj gt3071r rs enthalpy tune z32 mafs freddy intake walboro 255...... had just got my tune and all was fine afr was 14.8 or so cruesing and idle and few days later went all to heck running real rich idleing 10.0 to 12.0.... i can un hook vacume to bov and it goes from rough low idle at 10.0 to faster idle clear at 12.0-12.2..... things ive changed fuel preasure was at 46psi idle changed regulator now at 40psi tried anothe mafs with no change changed o2 sensor no change knock sensor no change coolant temp sensor no change... then finally tried a jim wolf tunned ecu for 740inj and z32 mafs.... no luck didnt change at all... there are no codes showing...... whats the problem im out of ideas..... help please!!!!!!

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Sounds like you got a leak somewhere...

Does the coil pack harness ground have its own grounding bolt and not shared with the firewall ground wire? Just thought I'd ask because it seems like that was my problem. I had the exact problem you're going through.

Boost Leak? Burst Coupler? This happenned to me a couple weeks ago.

Has to be leak under boost/vacuum. put a pressure tester on it. Im serious i test my car likeonce a week because boost leaks seem to spring up all the time. And i even have one piece hot/cold pipes.

im goin try redoing my grounds and try a diff igniter i dont understand if it was a boost vacume leak why would it help the AFR if i create more of a leak by unhooking vacume to BOV?? but will test for boost leak also i have a tester....

well found out my problem it was a the orange wire om my mafs was barely connected must og dot pinched somewhere... all better now
