I have a 95 240sx with a s14 black top sr in it. I bought this car about 6 months ago and have been chasing this one problem the whole time. The car runs awesome and pulls strong when this issue is not around. I have plenty of people to vouche for the car running including (hatchbackluke) and the problem is random. Ill give a quick brief on it. The car would randomly die due to a broke wire connecting to the cas. We temp fixed once started and ran great for about a month then boom again. So tempt fixed again started right up ran fine to (hatchbacklukes) house. I got a whole new plug with about 10 inches of fresh wire. We installed the new plug saultered the wires very nicely covered with heat wrap. Car started like 4 times no problem at all. We did this while installing hid's then moved it out of his driveway went to move back in and boom dead again. Doing the same thing it has been but the wire is fixed now. Ive been reading and been told it could be the cas it self. I do not have the money to put into this thing and really need out of the loan i have on it. The car is an awesome car and can be bad ass to someone who has a little money,knowledge and time to put in to it. The car with everything is worth well over what im asking but im looking for a quick sell and trying not to loose my butt on it. heres a run down on whats done to it.
exterior is in decent shape does have a cracked front window, needs paint it is peeling, needs front right wheel bearing as well. I have a idle control valve in a box waiting for install as well a long with a brand new isis power steering line.
