Did a search and found a couple topics that dance around the subject. I need to replace my windshield and the factory oem molding is almost as much as the windshield. They have a universal that is about $100 less and I was wondering if anyone has seen this universal molding used. If so what did you think?
Thanks in advance for any opinions
Forgot to mention. On an S14

Cool I can't see paying as much for the molding as the windshield

Let your installer use the universal stuff... muuch cheaper, good quality, and looks good!

yup. $223 for the complete OEM molding
Glass with install was $250 for my S13. I'm Not a fan of "Ford Econoline" van Molding.
Thats how they described how it looks to me when I decided to buy the OEM one.
Oh well.

One more for Universal, got my windshield and molding replaced for $180 through a local place. OEM metal molding looks like junk to me...
