So it appears that no one has ever seen a kouki before near me, which doesnt surprise me as they are rare. I love it tho, people come up to me all the time with "thats an awesome car! but what is it?", I took it to a body shop and the guy had absolutely no idea what it was. I've actually had someone stop me while I was driving on my block to find out what kind of car it was :D Then today I pull into my parking lot at work and this kid sees me pull in, I get out and he goes "Sick car man, is this a skyline?" I told him it was a 240 and he looked at me like I was lieing to him. East coast has always been behind west coast, but anyway just thought id share =]

Haha. Ph man, that freaking rocks so hard .. hard like a rock but you know, harder then the rock in the box like the cat in the hat but without the fleas if you know what I mean because you see the way things are will be too crazy for me to deal with this freaking insanity of post that make no sense keep it to yourself with a tape deck rocking it even if you’re a honkey you can still be hung like a donkey

lol yeah I git that too. . for awhile, I was the only kouki in town.
now there's another green one, but I rarely see it driving. . and a black one from cali with black top SR :cool:

i get the skyline bullshit and silvia this and that like everybody but the worst happened at the gas station a few days ago. some forty something guy with his wife in a 95 ish altima are in front of me fueling and the guy asks:

"is that the new maxima?"

"no sir this is a 240SX."

"oh.....I bet it's fast."

When did i say they were dumb? i said they had never seen a kouki and I was unaware I could only post if the topic hadent already been discussed sorry guys, didnt mean tho flood the forum...If your referring to me calling my car a kouki, well since kouki means later model and everyone else seems comfortable with the term I would figure it would be ok, but I guess since were in america I could say later model 240SX or 97-98 240SX...or I could say kouki like alot of other people do and you can just deal with it
