I am only 15, but I am really into 240's, fav is sileighty with sr20det, ofcourse.

I really get deep into tech stuff.

I also have a tendancy to start acting like I know everything in the world, cause not many ppl around here (st. louis, Ladue specifically) know much about cars. They not gonna. dad is selling me is 96 maxima for a grand, but I am selling that asap and getting myself a 90-93 240 coupe, with LSD. then I save and save and save, and get a s13 front end, SR20det, and stock 180 taillights. then I save and do more PERFORMANCE mods.

ummm... that doesn't bolt-on you know that right ? Are you going to custom fit them ? Or did you get confused ?

now you guys are making me confused. A person I know, who has a 92 240, got the S13 front end. from what I know, 89-94 240's looked like 180's. all I mean is the JDM taillights. &nbsp;They have them at www.importfan.com . when you get in, select 89-94 240sx, its on the second page, at the bottom.

Yes they have entirely different rear ends.

89-90 were the first 240s. they had 140hp they came in fastback and i am not sure but maybe a few coupes. the 91s and up came with 155hp fastbacks and coupes untill 94 i think. then they were all the new body style coupes... i think he is talking about the fastback.?.?

yeah.. hatchbacks and coupes have different taillights. &nbsp;if you want the 180 taillights, then you want the hatchback.

2) I am going for a sileighty conversion. Do I want a coupe, and Get 180 taillights custom installe (would be later, need speed more than looks)
Or is the sileighty a hatch?

good. finally someone realizes not many people know much about cars in st. louis like they do in other cities. (thinks back on that 5.8L supercharged mustang that should have supposedly had 500hp at the wheels)

i feel left out...i just started sellin stuff when i got here..anyway the names Richie, im also 17. got my 240 about 6 months after i turned 16..yeah i waited half a year to get this car, which was a long time for me. To the left you'll see the front end of my 97 S14. like everyone else here, ive got big plans for my 240 and hopefully it all works out. anyway, just sayin hi, and hopefully i get to know all of you alot better.

sileighty is a hatchback or assome prefer fastback, welcome to the board by the way. &nbsp;Whatever you don't know you can learn here and lots of what you think you know will be corrested here by people who know more. &nbsp;But they are all pretty cool so just pay attention and have fun. &nbsp;Oh beware of v-tec stickers an bags of rice hehe

I know the diffrence between coupe and hatch... I didnt know the tails were diffrent...
