I saw a thread somewhere about how to rewire your s14 se foglights so you can turn them on with the factory switch even with the headlights off, or on bright. I cannot find this thread anymore and wondered if anyone could help me? I searched my ass off on zilvia, NICO, fresh alloy, and 240sxforums.com, and couldn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

you just have to make the feed to the switch constant instead of dependent on the headlight setting

sorry - didnt mean to be like that
take a light tester (or volt meter if you prefer, i like the light its easy) and then test for the power going into the switch - it will come on when the lights come on, be careful not to get the line from the lights - tap a constant into that and you will be able to turn on the lights whenever you want - even with the head lights off
if you want then to turn off with the car and not by the switch tap a line that goes dead with the car
hope that helps

i actually found an easier way. i was just too lazy to do it before. but all you gotta do is find the fog light relay, and put a new wire to ground it out, which turns the relay on. then just put a switch between the relay and ground. just read the relay to make sure your grounding the right one. hehe
