And if you watch JCVD, you can see he is really trying to turn over a new leaf.
Apparently he asked Sly for the script numerous times, so he could see his character and what it was all about.
Sly never gave him a script and instead just kept saying, dont worry about it, we are gonna make so much money off this.

Thats the funny part. One, I knew I was going to go see a pointless movie with a shit-ton of explosions. It was what initially drew me to watching it. It reminded me of an awesome late 80s early 90's action flick.

He will more than likely be in it more. Remember, he was still the Governator when they filmed the first one. He was not allowed to have another job while in that position, thats the reason he didnt get involved too much with it. Now that he made California more broke than Gray Davis did (well maybe not, but it's still broke), he can be back to being an actor again and get paid for it.
