I swapped my wheel out on my S14 a while ago but didnt run the cruise control until today. Wired it up following the guide on Importnut, from the yellow plug, followed this guide:

"Button harness to "spiral" harness

Red -> Brown
Blue -> Green
Yellow -> Blue "

But cruise control doesnt work. The light on the switch would turn on but when I tried to set the CC, it wont set. I double checked the continuity and its good. Tried to check to see if there was a fuse that I might have blown, nada. The only thing I'm curious about is the 4th wire, the red one coming out from the back of the stock switch/plug, was I supposed to ground that out or something? I'm not running a horn so its not being used.

Any suggestions to check?

My theory was that the engine needs to be warmed up to operating temp for it to start working.. cause i had the same problem before too and now mine works fine. I could be wrong though.

Can you elaborate a little more on how you have this setup. Cruise has the on-off to the left of the wheel, then you have your set, accel, etc. Do you have any external links of how to rewire this?

Doubt thats the case, took mine on the freeway to see if it would set. Nothing happened.

Used this guide and followed what he posted up towards the bottom for the cruise control:
240SX Steering Wheel Swap (http://importnut.net/steeringswap.htm)

S14s have an on/off switch for the cruise control on the dash. The light would turn on but when I tried to set it via the controls, nothing happens.

Make sure you have the right polarity on the diodes...

I have a stock wheel and my cruise control is gone ever since I went KA-T (might be the tune in the ECU?).

Wish I still had cruise though!

That would be a negative, I didnt make new buttons so no diodes used. I'm reusing the stock switch so shouldnt need anything other than wiring it if I'm not mistaken.
