So where to start? Not easy to get hold of a car these days while paying bills and being a college student. Last year while in high school i promised myself i was definitely going to get a hold of my dream car an s14 this summer. Working 50 hours a week at minimum wage and trying to save up for it is not so easy, while being a teen and trying to save up, always looking at youtube videos nd dreaming just being depressed lol (no joke) trying to spend what you have to be happy doesn't help now i totally regret buying this totally awesome computer (tv,watch, clothes, illegal stuff etcetc) now.. anyways summers pretty much over and im going all out, still got some pennys in the bank saved up and working a decent job now, but i still dont have the confidence calling people up on Craigslist and interacting with people on forums. Im really scared on doing this kind of shit (buying a car) and especially hard due to people thinking they have a pot of gold in the garage (eastcoast), heres the thing enough time spent bull shiting im going to try to manage college and work my ass off and try to get one before winter, just hoping some people can give me some confidence on what to do when looking for one, I do plenty of research and know my way around cars (uncle was a mechanic passed away)) but its not easy not having any help from parents who are totally against this and having no friends with the same interest, basically im just here to chat and gain some confidence! Thanks for your time :x:

Wow bro, not gonna lie you sound like you're in the shoes I was in the beginning of the year when I was saving up for my S14. All I'm gonna say is that whatever advice people give you once you get your car, take it in consideration. I did the mistake of not believing the whole don't speed type of shit they gave me once I bought my S14. I nearly died on Friday night by losing control of the stupid car and hitting a street light post. Be real responsible with your ride, and don't do anything that'll jeopardize your hard earned car. Enjoy it once you get it man. Feels really good the second you buy it and drive off in it, and especially the feeling of knowing that YOU worked hard for it. Good luck man, and don't lose track on getting your S14.
