S14 Splashguards

Howdy Fellas...

    This has been bothering me since I bought my 240 a few months ago....  there are no splashguards on my rear wheels so it's really loud in the rain.  The entire rear of my vechile has Xtreme Dynamat in it... like $500 worth and it's still way loud in the rain... plus it kicks rocks up into the fenderwell.... one day I realized that I don't have splashguards in the rear... there are no S14s in this town to compare to so I'm sure one of you nice fellas can throw me a bone on this issue!!

i do have splash guards, though my car is still VERY load in the rain.. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;but yes, they do make them, and i have them. &nbsp;they are black... and kinda ugly... and.. yeah.. what do you need to know about them? &nbsp;(rocks still get kicked up even with them btw)

Are you talking mud flaps or splash guards? &nbsp;I'm talking about the whole inner black lining that should be in any normal car. &nbsp;Shit even my hardbody had them. &nbsp;I'm just wondering if S14s don't or if mine are gone for some reason. &nbsp;I just really doubt that because my car is totally original and it's never been wrecked... but who knows....

I just bought my 95 and it doesn't have them either. &nbsp;It has the front ones but not the rear, and I don't have any reason to think that the guy I bought the car from removed them.

Don't remember on my S13. My boyfriend's S14 doesn't have splashguards either.

I was glad to here everyones car was loud in the rain... I actually on the passnger side in the trunk pulled back the carpet and filled it all with soundproof insullation, which helped a lot and cost 10 bucks. Mine was just a big empty hole there (where the jack is on the other side). As for the mud flaps, I got em, and in the snow I can get snow packed so hard in the wheel wells I need a hammer and chisel to get it out. Good thing I hand wash the car twice a week.

My '96 SE came with them...Pretty pricey from the dealer...around 180-190ish for the set of four IIRC? The '97-'98's didn't come with them, because the front ones won't fit on with the side skirts. I, however will have the rears still when I put my '97-'98 skirts on...HEHE. I'm going to see if I can cut up the fronts to fit. I don't know what it'll look like, but it just might work. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Please let me know... I could give a shit less about performance, but I'm all about a quieter ride!! &nbsp;Performance is cool and all, but there's too many tradeoffs. &nbsp; Quieter rides have no trade offs!! &nbsp;It will stop that fucking annoying clanking whenever I'm driving through rocks, or swooshing when I'm in the rain!!
