95' 240

My KA starts bucking violently when i hit around 3k. the tach needle goes crazy between like 3-3.5k when it starts doing it, and the whole car starts bucking back and forth. changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. also has a new distributor, correctly timed.

Yea but its prob weak as hell. If you have a friend with a 240 use their fp to see if it gets better.

Mine did the same.

Fuel pump. Change the sock also can be clogged.

Check MAF connection. Car will also do this if the MAF is unplugged car goes into limp mode.

had a similar issue, did all of the steps you will find if you search for this issue (which is fairly common). brand new fpr, new injectors, new iacv, new fuel filter, changed plugs, wires, cleaned the maf, checked codes over and over. never had one. eventually went to an autoparts store that i frequent all the time and told the guy that i was going to buy a new maf but if it didn't fix my problem, could i bring it back? he said that it would have to be a "wrong part" in order to do that. so i paid the 280.00 some odd dollars walked out to the parking lot, swapped mafs and it fixed every issue i was having. then returned the core. so if you have a good friend at a parts store maybe he will let you try it without buying it. other wise if it doesn't fix it, return it for a "wrong part".

Make Sure maf is clean use maf cleaner to clean it. Check wires for breaks make sure not are touching and put a little dielectric grease on the pins should solve your issues unless maf itself is busted inside

Had same problem. Changed injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter then swapped mafs with my bro and car ran perfect again. I got a used one on here from another zilvian. Car is still running good
