Anybody who owns the ssr sp1 in aggressive size can you tell me how much it weighs what size width & offset youre running? I'm interested in purchasing a set but I can't find how much they weigh anywhere & every dealer keeps on giving me different weights on the rim

This topic doesn't need a new thread.
Wheel weights have been searched, found, documented.
Spend some more time searching, then try here:

I googled "wheel weights" and got this as the first result:
WheelWeights.net - Database of Wheel Weights (http://www.wheelweights.net/)
No offsets are listed, so it's really more of an almost list (wheel offset effects total weight) but it is close enough. I know bc my 5Zigen FN's are within 1 lb of the listed weights as were my stock wheels & the Team Dynamics wheels I used to have. Try searching better next time.

um wait what? wheel offset does not effect total weight,
only width and diameter...

offset can depending on wheel face, because of backpad sizing, but its negligible.

Correct, on some wheels offset is altered by adding more material to the backpad, increases the weight.
But to reiterate again, its negligable.

So weight is keeping u from purchasing them?

If you look at 5Zigen's website, and check their wheel listings, you will see a range of weights listed for each size. Back when SPL sold 5Zigen wheels, they listed weights for the wheel sizes & offsets that they carried. The lower offset wheels weighed slightly more. This is what was listed on the wheelweights.net site for an explaination as to why:
Different offsets will cause the same wheel to weigh more or less. The general rule is that the lower the offset (less positive), the higher the weight because the hub face is thicker.
My guess is the hub face is thicker on lower offset wheels to accomodate the increased load/stress it experiences due to the increase in the amount of leverage that is applied to it under load (like a longer pry bar or breaker bar works to increase load on the board or bolt).

Well, took me a while to type all of that, so others beat me to it.

offset can depending on wheel face, because of backpad sizing, but its negligible.yes wheel faces can make a big difference from .5-1.0lb same with offsets like a 12x10 rims 43 offset is goi ng to weigh probably a lb less then a rim what has -10 offset

No luck in the size or width I want but I'll keep on searching

Researching does not mean asking other people to do work for you.
