What....?

Could be timing chain rattle. Does it sound like its coming from the front of the valve cover?

Yup it from the front and I just change it a while back I think it's not maintaining the oil presure that's why it got messed up again

Truth. In fact, I would think there was something wrong with my car if it doesnt rattle...

Yep Yep, The infamous marbles bouncing around sound. I removed my upper timing guide and the sound was supressed a little but still their. I beleive next is the side timing guide.

If you havent remove the upper you should just take it out , it was marked unnecessary by nissan.

Also seafoam works great.

When you guys talk about the "upper" timing chain guide, do you refer to the one that sits directly above the timing chain between the two cam gears? I am going off of my s14 sr here, I can't even remember what the inside of a ka looks like.

well i had my timing chain done recently and it only rattles in drive at about 2000 rmp but if its parked and i rev the engine it doesn't rattle i was told by a mechanic that it might be sound detonation so i need more octane but idk and also it started to heat up today on the free way when i had my ac on
