Im looking for where the cheapest place to buy kyb agx shocks is. I think im either going to match them up with a pair a Tein s tech springs or H&R springs. I was looking on www.enjukuracing.com and their price is 399 for the agx's. Is there anywhere else i could get them for cheaper? thanks for your time

I ordered mine from tirerack.com at the end of February and they were 99.99/each for the front and 75.00/each for the rear, plus like 10 bucks and change for shipping, I paid like 360.** total shipped to my door... I don't know if this is stil their price, but it is well under that 420.** I've seen and isn't the crapshoot that ebay can often get to be...

tire rack is now 109 per front, 85 per rear for a total of about 390 + 10 shipping = 400. the cheapest i could find it online was www.p-s-t.com which is a vendor off kyb's website. they sell them for 389, free ups shipping to 48 states. still not that great of a price... -_-"

Advanced Auto Parts... prices aren't bad at all, but you don't have to pay for shipping. And another plus is you get them the next day. Its where i got my GR2's and my best friend got his AGX's.

As far as supporting your local shop and paying more?? Dont think so....not in this case. If I were friends with the guy....possibly. If he were in North Carolina...possibly. However, there are peeps on this board who frequently gloat about getting the "jspec hookup" because they live in Cali and they "know people". Thats cool, if I had the hookup I'd take it also, but dont urge us to pay more so jspec can offset their "at cost" losses they have incurred as a result from giving unmentionably low hookups Cali locals.

i've bought my last 3 sets of adjustables (2 sets of illuminas, 1 of kyb) for my last 3 cars and www.coximports.com has done great service with free shipping on shocks. kyb's were $430, i believe my illuminas were $370 back in the day. too bad they don't make illuminas for the 240, i hate my agx's.

hence the reason why i say LOCAL shops, i didnt say you have to buy from sam, but rather from a local shop that is close to you...but, in the end, its your money, you ultimately decide who to buy from

local shops suck ass. per ur guys advice, i checked out the local autofreak inside the mall next to mitsuwa. i asked him how much for a full set of kyb agx adjustables on a 95 s14 (my words). at first he looked like he was trying to sum me up. was i a ricer? a true enthusiast? a savvy shopper or a idiot with alot of money to throw around? i was dressed in black jeans, a banana republic shirt tucked in and a darkish red tie (just came from work). i had my gf with me. he quoted me at 600 bucks for a full set. i was tempted to tell him to STFU. but we just walked away with a shocked look on our face (my gf is price savvy as well). so much for supporting the local shop. he was trying to screw me over hardcore.

I forgot to mention shox.com... They usually will give you a quote that is already lower than anyone else's price, and will price match if it isn't lower... I only ordered from tirerack in the face of that because I had done all the low price shopping and was ordering some other shit from them at the time as well...

Import Replacement Parts (http://www.importrp.com/agx_apps.htm) has them for $390, which includes shipping. That's where I got mine. Easy ordering, fast shipping, no hassles.

its a small strip mall with 4 japanese shops (one being a kikokuniya) inside... my comment about it being next to a mitsuwa supermarket should tip you off to that...
if ur going to be an ass, get your facts straight.

I'll just throw in another vote for www.tirerack.com. It's a great site with a lot of information.
Best wishes,
