Dream Big Motorsports Park.

Basically it is going to cater to all drivers. 40 some odd acres...1/4 mile, drifting, moto, karts, yada yada. Basically a Sekia Hills in Socal. Track has already been designed, costs already factored. Just need support from fellow drivers. So if you can go on facebook, show support, spread the word, any and all help is appreciated.

Side Note from Staff of Dream Big: once the track layout is approved and legalized, We will be asking for honest opinions on what you "drivers" would like to see in a track. I figure we have some pretty talented drivers on here, I'm sure you have favorites of every track. We will be adding a laguna seca styled cork screw as long as we have plenty of room for elevation changes.

Ontario?

Meh.

Saves me about an hour and change instead of going up to BW. Sounds like a lot of smoke tho and with Cali laws, it will stilll be a pretty penny to get on the track.

well, considering a lot of money has already been spent in the design and development of this track, it's moving forward. This is not an idea...this is REAL.

From what I understand, Prices will keep the Budget minded person.

yes, closer than willow, and for the everyday track user.

Ontario?

Meh.

that pretty penny has already been budgeted...and it is pretty. Money is only one concern. We need to know if people WANT a track. According to the ziptied.com communtiy...we have tons of interest.

Whats the location of this place!

45 min from ontario. Add us on FB. The more likes, the more money we can get out of the bank for track layout dopeness. More garages to work on cars at the track, as well as the non driver friendly areas. (like kids arcade, place to eat, etc)

If we don't get enough support, this will be hot air. Lets not allow it, and show support. Post it on your FB page, share it with others. I don't care if your Grandma doesn't race cars, tell her to add it! lol.

Thank you everyone already for the support.

Update:

Rough draft on track design has been made. Track design will be available once finalized with some of the drivers.

If anyone has any input, please let me know. We are currently working with an engineer on Solar lighting for the track.

If you haven't supported us on FB, please do so. This track is going to be for everyone, and we need the support. Thank you Zilvia community!

Update:

Track Plans are at the designer getting 3D Rendered and Site Planned.

This is not 2nd Star to the Right.. This is going to happen.

David and Myself are working very hard on getting this all done up right, so that we do not have any major setback issues.

Thanks

If you took about 10 minutes to actually think about what you asked you could probably answer it yourself.

Considering the track rendering is at the 3d designer for the second time now.... I think we are just a hair past hopes.

-everyone, thankyou for this support. I just want all of you to know, this isn't an idea. We've met up with Fd drivers for track design input as the track was pre-designed.

Once the 3d rendering is actually complete and ready for modeling, you guys will see a REAL visual of what the track will look like.

Just FD drivers? Any input from road racing drivers from ALMS or something, it'd be cool to turn this into a sanctioned track and get some road racing going on [: Sounds like it's going well though. Good luck and look foward to seeing more progress through out time.

Think a sketch on a paper napkin is just good enough for the banks, I'd think investors will jump on.

Think were forgetting something here the local nut jobs from the environmentalist groups and environmental impact studies that have to be completed and myaraid of red tape and there is always going to be one of these http://hollywoodphony.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/02.jpg
near the track who will complain every second there is noise.

Well, Mike Essa drives in the Boxster spec classes as well as the big boy porsche races, so his input in the motorsports section as well as Alex Villabrille (now a Pro am Driver but used to drive karts and autocross) input. We also received feedback from dudes that ride bikes and a little oval action as well ;D. I personally drove time attack for almost 4 years in a FWD,AWD and RWD applications, as well as a little spirited canyon runs in the Subaru, so there is a little everything to this track for all, even a 1/4 mile. Imagine meihan, with a little more chaos, and some elevation changes.

I'm sure the banks don't care about what the track looks like lol. As far as these hippies and red tape, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE haha. To answer your question in a quick sentence, we ARE building a track, we know about all the tracks in CA that are successful, all the new ones, and all the closed down ones and for what reason they were shut down. So as long as we follow the rules, and make sure we aren't shut down for the same reasons as every other track, I think we'll be fine.

But the hippies are gonna have a hard time telling us no with what we are gonna hit them with.

I'll keep you guys updated

I would like to have my hopes up, but I won't start to get the least bit interested until the pavers are completed and there is an entrance gate. this will bring the local track total to 6, IIRC (B-willow, WS, ACS, CVMS, and Indie MP in AZ). I'm assuming the rendering will not be full of amenities that will have a high running cost year round.
