Pretty productive for for me, getting her cleaned up for her new shoes that should arrive in about a week (work e-wing meshies). Gave her a nice good rub down, stripped her of the black fender trim, no more eibach stickers, and removed the stock coupe wing. Any suggestions on filling the holes? Think my best bet is going to be painting a rear deck lid that didn't come w/ a spoiler.
Also gave her the ol' sleepy eyes via toggle switch. As of right now it looks as if both motors work at equal speed, yay! That was one thing I was worried about.
Will post picks when the new wheels come.
Next on the list, SPL links/subframe collars, then coilovers.

It's a 93 coupe. Is there any remedy for crooked sleepy eyes?
Wish I had a lift to do my installs!! Things would be so much easier. 3hrs is a good install time for vsld, no? Congrats.
Will post pics when the wheels come...I can't wait!

ordered a sparco sprint finally with scroth harness, 5/16" spacers all around (still didn't do much, but noticeable), put on my braided brake lines and front rotors and pads with some dot 4 blue fluid, and an a/f gauge for shits and giggles.

washed, waxed, polished, and dusted mine. bought and installed extended studs and 10mm spacers. installed kazama tension rods in front and shouldve installed the kazama RUCA's as well but im guessing if i did id have to get an alignment as well. so theyre sitting on the floor for now. oh and i also bought new air fresheners

no alignment needed after you put in those t/c rods? as long as you count/measure threads?
thanks

put on my apex N1 exhaust that i bought a month ago and only found the time to put on.... on saturday... took only an hour and a half.... but it sat behind the bumber where the tow hook is... sounded real nice.... drove around the whole day and night.... took a look behind the bumber this morning... boy did the exhaust heat burn a section of the bumber off.... and melted the foamy stuff under the bumber... so off the exhaust went.... back to stock.... :wtc:
any one want a apex N1???

then i'm going to get my other dunlop fm's mounted
then installing a slew of parts sitting waiting @ my house.
oh i did get one thing done. i installed my greg dupree subframe spacers. red anodized bling!

saturday: pulled KA. installed clutch and flywheel on SR. did other mild tuneup stuff on SR. dropped the SR in and fought with the motor mount studs for a while (a long while) but finally got it to sit in there right. bolted up the tranny support. filled engine oil, changed filter. installed belts. connected alternator wiring.
sunday: wired all parts of the SR. wrapped entire harness in tape. installed radiator and electric fan. installed/wired thermostatic fan switch. installed the driveshaft (after finding out you have to pop off the collar on the tailshaft of the tranny). installed downpipe and testpipe. re-installed the slave cylinder. filled tranny and installed short throw. re-installed interior pieces. put hood back on (supposed to rain today dammit).
basically all i have left to do is change the sparkplugs, cut a big hole in the battery tray and install the intercooler piping. then i'm ready to start'er up:D

Friday Night: Hung out at the shop..
Saturday: started removing power steering stuff from a junk 91 to put in my 90 when my sr goes in, then decided to take the whole front crossmember out and swap it in my car when I do my swap..lol. Rolled that car out and forklifted my clip in, removed motor from clip and inspected it..very nice. Removed driver side interior panels to make a complete mess of my interior and preparing for jdm 180sx seat belts(already put in on passneger side)
Sunday: won auction for hks d1 oil cap, went and looked at a 500 dollar 90 hatch for possible transfer of project car status..
not a bad weekend if I do say so myself.
tonight shall be a new bumper going on.

I installed my 5 lugs , Z brakes & RUCA this Saturday.
The front Attain hubs fit like a glove!! Very high quality, expensive but definately worth it!
The RUCA is the Pro-series one from SPLparts, very nice piece also, strong in construction and they look so beautiful against my Tein HEs!!:D
I'm running Z32 TT rims right & back, with 205/55/16 front, 215/50/16 rear. Even with 205 the front still rubs against my coilovers I need to get a set of spacers to clear them.

I finally got a chance to vaccum all the dirt out of the interior of my car from rallycross. Today I also removed my AIV system and capped off all the hoses, just for kicks. Tomorrow I will try and figure out why my tail lights fill up with water and seal them, and maybe get to work on de-rusting some of the parts before winter. Eventually, I will wash and wax the car. Thanksgiving Break is awesome.
