SE and LE don't really mean too much when it comes to 240s. No performance difference, no regular difference in equipment. HICAS came on either an SE or and LE, as would a VLSD, or it may not. . . My SE is largely indiscernable from a base model, save the SE sticker on the back :P There is a reference in the VIN as I recall, though I don't know the syntax.
So yeah, you're taking a huge risk :P

i'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit...the only hicas cars were fastback years 91-93. i take it your car would also have HUD, but you failed to mention that as a distinguishing factor

Keep in mind he resides in Canada (according to profile) and his car may very well be a Canadian model, which differs from the US 240SX's in a couple ways including manual seatbelts, daytime running lights, and of course a metric spedometer. 93 S13 LE w/ LSD and HICAS? It wouldnt surprise me.

I had been under the impression that HICAS was only available on fastbacks (probably the reason for Paradox's decidedly undiplomatic claim). But yeah, being possibly a canadian model, I have no idea :P
To post a pciture, use the "Attach file" option. The link you posted will only work if we already have that picture in that location on our own hard drive, which defeats the purpose anyhow :P

I understood that all Canada 240SX's were equipped w/ LSD

I know what VLSD is but what is HICAS???
HICAS is 4-wheel steering.
My HICAS light is on the trim for the gauge cluster, right next to the vents on the right side of the steering wheel. If you have it, that's where it would be.
