I have been doing my research on radiators and trying to figure out the cheapest but best quality radiator. I do know aluminum is the best bet ,but I'm not sure the best performance wise or if there is a big different between the stock radiator vs. the sr20 radiator for example:
Car Part Wholesale - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Radiator For 1990 Nissan 240SX (http://www.carpartswholesale.com/v5/?PN=9235&VN=4294967147+4294960609+4294960567&N=0&Nr=AND%28universal:0%29&sv=0)
^ pretty cheap compared to:
cxracing.com: Al. Radiator For 89-94 Nissan 240SX S13 Chassis with SR20DET Engine Swap, Core Size: 25"x16.75"x1.6" (http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CXR&Product_Code=RAD-S13-R32&Attributes=Yes&Quantity=1)
So my question is: What would be the best way to go with performance without spending too much $$ UNLESS it is worth buying the sr20 radiator?
Also when it comes to how I drive, since I just got the car I will somewhat want to push it but not like pushing 120s every damn straight away.
Thanks.

SR20 and KA radiators are different because their outlets for the hoses are placed differently, not because they are of varying quality. so if you plan to do a motor swap, it doesn't make a lot of sense to buy an aluminum one for your ka, just to have to buy another later with proper hose outlets.
if you plan to stick with your ka, then a sr20 radiator isn't going to do you a lot of good, because your hoses won't route to the outlets.
anywho, upgrading to an aluminum one for your ka certainly wouldn't hurt, but i don't see why a stock motor would really need it. cali guys may wanna step in on that opinion, dunno how hot cars run at some of the tracks there, but i've hotlapped the hell out of my KAs, and they have very very rarely overheated.

Okay. What I didn't mention is that my s13 does have a sr20 in it right now, I was just told you can still put a ka24 radiator in it unless that is wrong, I was just wondering would the performance or cooling be less then the sr20 radiator

to answer your question.. one will not be better than the other.. the only difference is the hose location
