WOOHOOO! SR is IN!!

thanks to XAT racing in Tampa, my s14 is now red top powered. it was a KA24 auto and now a 5 spd SR powered 240. i can't tell you enough how much this engine hauls @ss!!!! pics up soon...

what do you plan on doing with the car? i mean, what was the purpose of putting in the sr. track, 1/4, drift,. etc

yea ive had the car since 99 and finally i get the SR in. my purpose for it is mainly for autoX and then drift. I would go to 1/4 to see times though...ill update you once i get my pics in.

i loved my 240 before the SR and afterwords...well lets just say when it's time to go get milk I love to jump in and take it for a spin.

Pulling daily driver duties and track duties (any type) it's just an all around great car. Fast, handles well and just damn fun.

i'm with this guy. Having a car to haul ass to get grocerys is great, esp. if you have a lot of back roads in your area:boink:

yeah...its a daily driver, here we got a lot of back roads too. going from a 155 hp auto to over 200hp stick is just total craziness. the clip they put in for me had an upgraded clutch and they SAY it has cams in there too, judging from a test run when they took it out for a spin, so i might have even more than what i paid for. looks like JDM driver guy hooked me up! They didnt tell me what kind of cams because they didnt rip it open to find out.

but what i have in addition to that is greddy hot pipe, 3" downpipe, and n1 exhaust, koyo radiator and greddy type S BOV along with it. They had an S13 there with a red top swap as well, with all the bolt on mods they put on for me plus a FMIC and flex-a-lite duals, and they said that my car pulled way more when they tested them.

I feel it too... the boost kicks in around after 2500 rpm and then it goes crazy from 4000 all the way to red line. woooooh man...pics are coming...my friend with the digicam is sick and i dont want to bother him...but they will be up.

XAT? Are they that ones that you can buy 240s from on EBAY, and for more they'll drop in an SR20 for you?

yes they are. i should have checked on a car if you are interested. they swap lots of motors...and they work with RB's as well and have full a/c working. In my area it gets really hot and humid so a/c is a must. other than that, theyre a cool bunch of guys...they host barbecues and stuff for the whole tampa region import scene...especially 240s.
