Car wont start need help timing

SO my head gasket blew i replaced the gasket with a .075 in cometic gasket and arp head studs to 70ft/lb. The car is boosted so next i install the cams according to jim wolf at tdc and set the distributor to on and now the car wont start. So i realized later that i had to set my cams up at atdc like they were before i had taken them of and set the distributor timing. But how do you move the distributor back and forth by the time i put it in it is super tight and i cant rotate it by hand... Need help PLEASE!!!

Truthfully, you need to get it to a shop if you dont remember where originally the rotor was pointing. unfortunately for you, there is no oil catch on the bottom of the gear catch to tell you where the correct position is.

and before can twist it.. try unscrewing it.. take it out a little... then turn it to where you want to rotor to end up... then turn counter clockwise a few degrees... so when you put it back it.. it twist correctly.

Agreed go to a shop bro setting up your timing wrong can cause some damage. Try reading the FSM thats how i learned.
