Well I searched, in two fourums, fresh alloy and here at zilvia

My clutch is going out i believe, when i was in 4th and 5th gear i floored the car going about 60mph. And tried both, they both slipped of course, the 5th more than the 4th.

I checked my fluid, no leaking fluid, canister is full, pedal feel is great.

I assume its my clutch going because i treat it bad. Clutch kicking...all that bad stuff to attempt to drift and the way i shift sometimes when i drag. I feel like i should have a 4 or 3 puck clutch. Its only been 20k i think but i supose if i abused it enough it could go out yeah? Im not that bad of a driver i think i just race too much and attempt to drift too much.

Oh yeah, one last thing, suposing this is the problem, i'm going with a daikan exedy hyper single clutch (3 puck with flywheel combo) Does anyone know the weight of the flywheel on this package? Any comments about the clutch, i've read good things?

seems like the way you drive a 3-puck wont last you long.

any remedies? yeah, a new clutch, break it in properly, and quit driving like an ass if you expect over 20,000 miles out of it.

well you can either change your clutch now or wait and ruin your flywheel... your choice. Sometimes the pressure plate is still good and auto parts sell clutch disc by them selfs for $40 . Depending how the pressure plate looks....this is a very inexpensive way of repairing

Wow. I totally abuse my clutch but it lasted me closer to 50k. Unless you have/plan on many more mods the 3 puck is a waste and will ruin your flywheel if you really drive that crazy. They are unforgiving.

Even when dragging I rarely launch at more than 2500.
