You can use a 96-98 Nissan Quest (95-98 Mercury Villager) alternator.

Get one from a 90's mustang, tbird, or tarus with efans. Its 180 amp. We use theese on Broncos all the time. Look at the front of the altenator, between the ribs there should be four holes not three. Got one for my S13. Best bet is get a remaf from a parts house. Then bring yours back as a core. Then you have a new part with warranty.

I haven't put it in yet. Have to grind a little off the mountont pivot to fit and replace the pulley. Its in my storage. I'll grab it tomorrow and see what it takes.

Nissan Quest alternator, as stated above. Bolt on for the KA after you drill out one of the holes, and can easily be installed on an SR with the CodyAce brackets

I'm only asking cuz I almost bought a custom h/o alt for my ka24de but them decided I didn't want to look at $0.00 in my bank account lol (bout $600 after shipping from Mechman alternators)
But I've heard of the quest alt but its too low of amperage.
I've heard of sum1 using a cadi alt but not sure how that's done or wat to look for.
But I havnt heard of using a t-bird or mustang alt?
Tell me more bout this plz.
