RACEUP, has anyone used them before?????

Im buying a clip today!!, i was wondering if anyone is familiar with www.raceup.com they have one clip with everything, gaugecluster, ac compressore intercooler radiator, you know, the whole works, the only thing it is missing, is one peice of intercooler piping the motor only has 60,000km on it, and there ebay feedback is great...

so has anyone here messed with them, or know anyone who has messed with them

Never heard of them, but....if their prices are all "buy it now", then you could almost wait until you could drive down there with a large Uhaul and look each clip over and pick one. Have you ever heard of Heavy Throttle (srswap.com)? I believe their prices are similar and they are supposidly in Boston and Poughkeepsie, NY....and shipping is $250. Also, I think there is a place in north central NC.


As far as the IC piping thats missing, I think you could find that peice in the classifieds since most people probably go FMIC.

i know but heavy throttle doesnt give intercooler piping radiator ac compressor nothing of that sort, this is for a whole front clip, and he has good reviews on ebay i just want to make sure, im probaly gonna do it on monday

ask them for an Email of someone that has bought one and email them. Good feed back on ebay doesn't mean anything. I stopped buying off of ebay when I got ripped off for $300 and ebay didn't do anything about it.

What do you expect ebay to do about it? Its like buying something off of recycler and then complaining to them that it was a fake or whatever.

E-bay is just yet ANOTHER classifieds ad, some new, some used, some good, some stolen -- only difference is that its an online auction.

So, regardless of what rep someone has on e-bay, you should always do your research and have alternatives. When I buy on e-bay, I ONLY pay with PayPal.. I have 30 days to get my product. If I dont get it by the 20th, I make sure to file my dispute with PAYPAL, get my cash back.

I got scammed out of 15 bucks on buying a poster through a company that seemed to "close business." It doesnt take more than 15 bucks of my hard earned cash to realize that I'de better take extra precautions when buying stuff online. This is why I dont mind paying more for IMPORTANT purchases like a clip or other high priced purchase and dont buy them on e-bay.

Well i am here in MIAMI the location of Rickys Auto Center AKA race up, and i personally know of a few people who have been ripped off by that guy , I HAVE NEVER dealt with him but you can bet your A$$ that I would stay away from them, he is a jerk and if you have any problems ill bet he wont be willing to help. He is primarily a honda shop and he will be the first to tell you that he doesnt know that much about nissans, that should speak for itself, so when you have tech questions or your clip is missing the igniter or something and hes like whats that ,i dont know, your gonna be up the creek.

All these boards are full of people that have Good and Bad things to say about every shop there is, thats why i dont like to talk crap , the only reason is that you seem mesmerized by this guy. i just want to give you another point of view. PERSONALLY i would stay away, thats not to say there good or that there bad, im just telling you the expeeriences of other people i know.

Paypal sucks. Lost $114.74 off them, and their dispute center said "This was the seller's fault. He's your $.48." Yes.. Fourty-Eight cents. So I did the only logical thing to do, and went to my bank and did a chargeback. Now I don't have a paypal account :(

Try contacting them, they probably can get you those extra parts.

i did call them, and they said all they could do is sell me the smic WITH NO PIPING for an extra $100 SO I WOULD SPEND $2600 ON A MOTOR that is still missing many peices.........

How soon are you planning on installing this engine?? I see OEM SR piping and intercoolers on ebay all the time for cheap......also...people on here sell that stuff as "extra SR junk" when installing their FMIC's. An extra $100 is rediculous for the OEM SMIC.

had complete stock IC and piping for $125. Its out there, you just have to look.

Now...if you are wanting a clip so you can see how everything fits together, I can understand that.....but peicing together a stock setup shouldnt be that hard. Its your hard earned money, so please buy whatever you want, ....I'm just good at saving money by being resourceful, and thats what Im trying to help you with.

i got my front clip from raceup.. they sent me the wrong ecu, missing BOV, dented valve cover and the clip looked like a piece of chit..when i called them the dude was trying to act all hard..he said the ecu was good and that i fuked up the wiring then i called jim wolf and they ran the #'s, it ended up being a pulsar gtir ecu.. dont buy from him!!!
