I searched, but didnt find anything useful... I installed an s14 sr and set the timing. I dont have the light gun to fine tune the timing yet, but would that cause it to idle for 30 secs and then just die? Also my battery was sitting for a while, but i would think that once it started it would get enough juice from the alternator or if my alternator was bad it would hesitate to start. Any ideas?

its smooth and not really high, i didnt really look, but it sounded like the normal 800 rpms... i'm waiting for that timing gun, but i dont think if thats what causing it

Just to update if anyone else gets this problem: i set the timing at 14* and the car idles at 800 rpms and doesn't die anymore. But once it revs past 2k it breaks up. I checked the wiring to the maf and i get 13.8 from the black/white wire and 0 from the white wire at idle. So the maf signal is not there. I have to trace it back to the ecu, just need to find the pinout diagram to check for continuity...
