Figured i would share this with people on zilvia, i just got mine:
It's a rebate for $26 on a Green Earth Technologies synthetic oil 5w-30. I paid 27.92 after taxes, so its not a bad deal. Here's the link:

why how is it? I don't want to put in my Subaru and destroy a rod bearing (been there done that with Royal Purple). EJ series motors like motor oil

huh? royal purple for a few years now has never destroyed my rod bearing in my subaru. sounds more like a lack of maintenance than an oil problem

There's a thread about this Green oil on the Bob Is The Oil Guy forums. They seem to think it's okay.
