My 1995 S14 has a very low idle and it will die if I don't keep my foot slightly on the pedal. Also, the exhaust has white smoke coming out when I do this. I took the car to autozone last week to get my check engine lights looked up, and the codes were P0325-Knock Sensor 1 Circuit and P0402- EGR Excessive. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anyone? The car will die if I disengage the clutch. Like it won't hold the revs up on it's own. Also, the car will bog on acceleration. I want to know if these problems can be from the egr-bpt solely, or if it may be my fuel pump or spark plugs or something else entirely? Help me out knowledgable dual cam folks

with the car running, hopefully you should be able to do this.. as in the car wont die, pop the hood and locate the egr and lightly lift up on the valve itself. the car should die and that tells that the egr valve itself is working. You can pull it apart if you want and spray the hell out of it with brake cleaner if the valve is stuck open or if you want i have an extra egr that i know works, just give me 5 bucks and pick up shipping and its yours.

Ok. I got it fixed. I cleaned the egr to the best of my ability and then I reset the ECU and now it seems fine. I took it out for a drive and had no bogging issues and the car didn't drop dangerously close to dying. Thanks for the help. I'm probably going to get the egr-bpt valve replaced anyway since I got a check engine light for it anyway

Well, I thought the problem was fixed but it comes and goes. Is it possible for the EGR-BPT valve and a minor exhaust leak at the cat cause this problem. I will be driving along and then the car will start to feel like its sputtering and will shoot ALOT of black smoke out the exhaust and the car will die if I dont keep on the gas. Please help me guys.
