I am trying to put the stock fogs from a 97 on my 98 base, I seem to have them all wired up, and the relay in.. but they still arnt working. I have tried to use the FSM and trace everything down, and everything by itself seems like it is working.. anyone know if I need more then just the fogs, switch and the relay?

Did u check to see if they bulbs are still good??? usually no one looks at the bulbs inside the foglights.

no I havent checked them.. they were working on the car we took them off of ( JDMC's car ) but I cant even read any power on my multimeter at the plug, so I think the problem is before there... I am afraid it might have something to do with the daytime runing system, since I dont have that and I think the SE's do...

mark, did you ever hunt around under the relay box looking for the missing contact?

it really looked like that was the problem, but i couldn't hunt around in there before your run, that whole tech inspection thing ;)

acualy from my FSM that wasnt suposed to be conected. I beleave it was pin 5, thats if I was reading the layout right. it didnt look like that conected to anything on the layout... so I wouldnt know were to wire it to... I am realy wondering about tha day time run light system.. I am thinking it is tied into that some how..
